Nyepi (Silence Day)

Nyepi, the Balinese New Year, is a day of silence and reflection when the world is cleansed. Observance is from 6:00 a.m. on 21 March 2015 until 6:00 a.m. on 22 March 2015. In honor of Nyepi, all guests are required to not leave the hotel grounds. Lights in the hotel will be subdued, noise must be kept to a minimum and blinds must be kept closed after 6:00 pm on 21 March.

    Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superb facilities with very welcoming staff After staying at the hotel through using a reward night we decided to come back on our return leg as we received such a welcome and attentive service during both stays. The staff really do make this place what it is, from the pickup at the airport to the moment you hand your keys back at reception it is by far one of the friendliest Intercontinental hotels you will ever stay. Most of the staff have been there quite a while so they are knowledgable and you can see they are keen to ensure your stay means you return Having stayed in a basic room and then a suite both on the top floors the sizes of both was great for a couple. The pool service (complete with your own flag) and room service were timely and the restaurants catered for everything you could want as you watched the sun go down. Having also used the spa facilities during our short stay I can thoroughly recommend a massage here over anywhere else we stayed in Bali. Thanks to the team for such a great stay it is truly a spectacular place and will be hard to beat. 16 October 2014
    Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay and service We had an excellent stay. Nice breakfast with great selection spread. Room was clean and nice. Location was superb at Jimbaran bay. Awesome private beach which was nicely maintained and well kept. Last but not least and the most commendable point would be the team of great staff providing high service standard constantly living up to the IHG standard. 16 October 2014
