LOCAL CULTURE

ARCHITECTURE

Bucharest is known as the Paris of the East or Little Paris for many reasons. First of all, Romanian culture was greatly influenced by the French. In past centuries, French was the common language in the ball rooms of Bucharest and France was the favourite destination of the well to do for both leisure and study. This cultural trend started to shape the city itself in 1853, once the Stirbey Palace was finished. The old oriental influences were replaced by neoclassical features, French architects designed majestic buildings while great parks and gardens adorned the city. The city’s look and the life style reminded every traveler of the charming French capital.
ENJOY THE BEST OF BUCHAREST IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE
Towering above the city skyline, this Bucharest hotel offers a host of luxury amenities. Immerse yourself in the beautifully designed pool, with panoramic city vistas on the 22nd floor. Dine at Corso Brasserie, offering a contemporary Romanian menu and glass walls overlooking Bucharest. The National Theatre, old city and Cismigiu Gardens are just a few minutes away from the hotel. You’re also within walking distance of Bucharest’s business and shopping districts.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 235 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and service Hotel is very convenient, close to the underground and a short walk from the old town of Bucharest with it's restaurants and nightlife. Staff are always very attentive, and the hotel communal areas are always clean/tidy. Food is good, though can get a little crowded for breakfast! Rooms are all very functional, however some are starting to show their age though don't let this stop you staying her. 26 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place in the heart of Bucharest With over 70 nights in the hotel I can say it was a wonderful experience. All employees are very friendly, courteous, highly trained, willing to help with any request, but the person who stood out and made me feel at home, was Marius from the Club lounge. He is a really nice guy who knows what to do, very professional, anticipating, quick and friendly. 24 April 2015
