It was quite an experience for me; however, the welcome was a bit blunt. I felt much could be done to improve service for such a flagship hotel "MY ARRIVAL". I waited at the desk for almost 5 minutes without being served. There was a group check-in and the guys at the reception were struggling until I had to ask if there was someone going to serve me. Ultimately I received the service. There was a trainee at the desk and half the time he was being assisted by the other guy; my suggestion is trainees should be fully capacitated for them to complement your workforce. You have a beautiful hotel and you have impressively taken hotel standards to another level. It would be every hotelier's dream to work at a place like Intercontinental Lusaka. Key note is to focus on the pressure point. 08 December 2014
